I used this to drill hoies in 1/8" Aluminum plate using a small shop drill press. I used a punch awl to define the drilling location and a little WD40 to lubricate. It worked very nicely.

I bought this set to expand a hole for a bolt that was offset from the tapped hole. The steel was between 1/16" and 1/8" thick. These burrs made quick work of the steel with the aid of some cutting lubricant. I recently used them to elongate a hole in wood and they worked great there as well. No complaints, happy customer.

I made some custom Christmas lights for my house- needed to cut 250+ holes in sheet metal. I was worried after reading the other reviews... BUT NOPE! This handled it like a champ! Never broke, super sharp still, never dulled. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS for the proper RPM! I used a drill press in the correct RPM settings, NO OIL or LUBRICATION, drilled slowly.
